K-drama’s to watch for first timers!
Personally, I have just started watching k-dramas at home due to the endless boredom of being at home during quarantine and was thinking of ways to burn through time.
One good thing about all the korean dramas I’ve watched till now is that they all have happy ending and somewhat good humour and comedy that makes you wanna smile, blush and laugh out loud. With all that happening in the world, this is my little temporary escape jumping into fictional worlds where the biggest worry is if the mains will end up together haha. I hope you are all doing well and are taking care of your mental health as well.
I’m not binging on dramas like before, when lock down had initially begun, and have been reading more into the socio-political events.
Nonetheless here are recommendations for some light-hearted content everyone can enjoy!
These are my personal recommendations, and if you have any feel free to share!

1. Oh My Venus
I’ll be honest, this is one of THE BEST CASTING I’ve seen for a show. All the roles are played so well! It’s hilarious and it’s such a natural plot with no major drama with an evil antagonist. It’s a simple show that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy after watching! Highly recommend.
2. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo
Honestly i didn’t think i would like this show when i first started watching but it instantly caught my attention. Its amazing to watch the friendship of the protagonists grow and their romance is adorable!
3. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
The story line is predictable but their romance is extremely adorable, not to mention the cute scenes where the 2 male leads are competitive are HILARIOUS! I literally laughed out loud for a solid ten minutes each scene.
4. 1% Of Something
This show stars a protagonist who’s a very stern man in the beginning but the character development was just amazing and by the end you see a completely different version of him. Not to mention how cute they look together.
